Addison Benjamin "Ben" Lichtenthaler, age 87, of Warrensburg, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Western Missouri Medical Center.

He was born September 16, 1936, in Dover, MO, the son of Elson Howard and Mary Mae (Ware) Lichtenthaler.

On October 12, 1957, he and Donalee Idelle Hultz were united in marriage in Carrollton, MO. She preceded him in death on July 23, 2024.

Ben is survived by his children, Marylin Lund, Darlene Meyers, Howard (Stacy) Lichtenthaler; his grandchildren, Jessica (Andrew) Lipke, Heather Meyers, and Christopher Meyers; and a sister, Jo Spells.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Yvonne Alison; and two sisters, Dorothy Kindle and Fannie Warner.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00, on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Oak Grove Community Church, north of Warrensburg. Entombment of Donalee and Ben to follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Missouri Veteran Cemetery in Higginsville. Military Honors for Ben will be provided at the time of entombment by the Whitman AFB Honor Guard.
