Autlie Walker, 83, of Green Ridge, MO, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2026. He was born March 9, 1943, in Searcy, Arkansas, to Sam Walker and Thelma Scott.

Autlie was united in marriage to Lavonne Weisel on July 29, 2004, in Windsor, MO. He was a man of strong faith, baptized into the Pentecostal faith in 1996, and remained devoted to the Lord throughout his life. Autlie was known for his quick wit, great sense of humor, and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

He was a proud Vietnam veteran and a dedicated, hardworking man who spent 35 years at Alcan Cable. A true country boy at heart, he deeply loved his family and his country and took pride in serving others.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lavonne Walker; his sons, John Walker (Amy) of Green Ridge, MO, and Ben Walker (Heather) of Sedalia, MO; his siblings, Doris Mueller (Larry) of Sedalia, MO, Joe Walker of Sweet Springs, MO, Herbert Walker (Diann) of Mercer, MO, Elmer Walker of Sweet Springs, MO, and Becky Walker of Sweet Springs, MO; and his grandchildren, Breanna Needy (Tyler) of Syracuse, MO, Maddison Walker, of Green Ridge, MO, Mackinzie Brines of Sedalia, MO, Skylar Brines of Sedalia, MO, Matthew Walker of Sedalia, MO, Erin Walker of Sedalia, MO, and Ava Walker of Sedalia, MO; and a great grandson, Carston Needy. He is also survived by the mother of his sons, Cathy Smith.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Walker.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 17, 2026, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Moore Funeral Home in La Monte, MO. A graveside service will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Sedalia, MO.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Autlie Walker Memorial Fund, with checks payable to John Walker.
