Brenda Kay Fockler, age 72, of Warrensburg, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024, at her home.

She was born February 7, 1952, in Blue Springs, MO, the daughter of Harvey Woodrow and Violet Louise (Lentz) Long.

On November 21, 1998, she and James Fockler were united in marriage in Miami, OK.

Brenda is survived by her husband, James Fockler; her children, April Nelson, Quentin Lawrence, wife Shanda, and Misty Emerson, husband Dave; her sisters, Cindy Long, Anna Janelle Pate, and Lana Long; her grandchildren, Dakota Hutcheson, wife Tiffany, Zack Hutcheson, wife Alexis, Mariah Graham, Caleb Graham, wife Michaeline, Madison Wilson, husband James, Frankie Nelson, Avery and Donavon Lawrence, Nick Emerson; her great grandchildren, Mackenize Tabor, Braxton and Elton Wilcox, Ember and Hazel Graham, Lyla and Korben Hutcheson, Aza, Aria and Wade Wilson; and her surviving little dog Mr. Brown.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Kenny Long; and two sisters Theda Long and Mary Louise McDowell.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am on August 31, 2024, at the Lone Jack Baptist Church, Lone Jack Missouri.
