Brenda Jewell Gardner, age 58, of Warrensburg, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City.

Brenda was born on July 13, 1963, in Lee's Summit, Missouri to Paul Gardner and Ruth (Swearingin) Gardner..

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Ruth Gardner; a sister Melinda Gardner; and a brother James Reaves. She is survived by her sons, Tim Gardner, Bobby Gardner (Christie); her grandchildren Summer Gardner, Kadyn Gardner, Kyler Gardner, Asher Gardner; sisters Paula Flores (Mike), Sue Lakey (Jeff); and brother Lonnie (Jackie) Gardner; and many nieces and nephews and adopted children

Brenda was an avid lover of horses, the NASCAR legend Jimmie Johnson, and the color purple.

Brenda's celebration of life service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 3, at Sweeny-Phillips & Holdren in Warrensburg, MO. A visitation service will be held from 6:00 p.m until service time.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Brenda Gardner Memorial Fund with checks made payable to Tim Gardner and can be left in care of Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home (617 North Maguire Street, Warrensburg MO 64093).
