Obituary

Cailey Renee Verdeja was born December 4, 2005, and joined the family of Wende and Samuel Verdeja in April 2010 with her sister, Morgan. Cailey unfortunately lost her life in a car accident with her fiancé, Ryan Conditt, the evening of June 29, 2026.

Cailey was a young mother with a passion for helping others. She enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends, trying new things, and gaining new experiences through adventures. She loved being a mother and enjoyed spending time in nature. She and her fiancé enjoyed trips to the lake, going on camping trips, and making sure to spend as many mornings as possible with their baby outside.

Cailey was planning to go back to school once her daughter was older to pursue a career outside the home.
She was preceded in death by her younger sister, Morgan, and her younger brother, Mckein. They are all greatly missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Isla; father, Samuel and Natasha; brother, Jude; mother, Wende; brother, Trae; sisters, Chloe and Tabby; nephew, Bryson; and nieces, Skylynne and Azarralynne, Paige and two nephews. She is also survived by her brother, Christopher; nephew, Michael; nieces, Isla and Rebecca; sister, Nicole; nephews, Bryan Jr. and Andrew; nieces, Eliana and Bryana; sister, Hailey; nephew, Andre; and niece, Annalise. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and loved ones too numerous to list.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, 2026 at Shilhoh Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Terrence Moody officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Jude Verdeja, Bryson Verdeja, Dalton Fritts, Collin Campbell, Trae Verdeja, Alex Verdeja, and Trey Verdeja.

The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home.
