Carol Anne
Tyler
Sep 30, 1986 — Jun 18, 2021
La Monte
Carol Anne Tyler was born on September 30, 1986, in Memphis, Tennessee to Kevin and Wanda (Ette) Crowe. The family moved to Missouri in 1990. Carol graduated from Bowling Green High School in 2005.
She met the love of her life, Seth, at Central Christian College of the Bible in 2007. They were married the next year on August 9 and had three boys together: Blake Daniel, Rhett James, and Hunter Warren. Carol was a stay-at-home mother, loving the time she was able to devote to her boys and her husband. They ministered in several churches in Missouri and Illinois until they found their dream job, becoming the camp manager and food service director of West Central Christian Service Camp in 2020.
Carol was very artistic and used her creative skills in her devotions with the Lord and in decorating their home and life. She especially enjoyed crafting, knitting, crocheting, painting and drawing. She shared her talents with others in different settings and taught on occasion. Carol loved living in the country and took great pleasure in watching sunflowers bloom. She was a faithful follower of Christ and trusted Him with her life unconditionally.
Carol passed away unexpectedly at the age of 34 on Friday, June 18, 2021 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Hal Crowe and an unborn sibling. Carol is survived by her husband, Seth Tyler; her sons Blake Tyler, Rhett Tyler, and Hunter Tyler; her parents Kevin and Wanda Crowe; her brother Chris (Emily) Crowe; her paternal grandmother Beverly Crowe; her maternal grandfather Tom (Betty) Ette; her maternal grandmother Jean (Neal) Newland; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Carol married into a large family that loved her and accepted her as well, considering her their own daughter and sister. In addition to the family that she was born into and the one she married into, Carol was loved by many friends who thought of her as family. Her encouraging words and caring spirit endeared her to many who will miss her greatly on earth.
Carol's celebration of life service will be held at 4:00pm on Friday, June 25, at Northside Christian Church in Warrensburg, MO. Pastor Sid Tiller will officiate. A visitation service will be held beforehand at Northside Christian Church, beginning at 2:00pm. Carol's interment will follow immediately after the service at La Monte Cemetery. Her pallbearers include Mark Nichols, Jordan Shuman, Shane Moore, Ray Burhart, Al Schuweiler, Toby Brown, Matt Churchill, and Jacob Crawford.
Memorial contributions are suggested to be made out to the "Carol Tyler Children Education Fund" and can be left in care of Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home (617 North Maguire Street, Warrensburg MO 64093).
