Carol Fay (Rutherford) White, 69, of Warrensburg, Missouri, died June 22, 2026.

Born August 15, 1956, in Mexico, Missouri, to Leon and Viola "Jewell" (Saling) Rutherford, she graduated from Mexico High School in 1974. She married Roy Lee White on August 7, 1992, and together they built a life on the farm. Carol loved farm life and was the biggest fan of her children and grandchildren as they showed cattle, goats, sheep and pigs at local, county and state fairs. She also enjoyed family fishing trips at the pond and hosting family holiday gatherings.

Carol devoted 40 years to Central Missouri Community Credit Union, beginning in 1983 as a part-time assistant bookkeeper and rising to chief executive officer, a role she held for 17 years. She was a respected leader, mentor and advocate for others. She was an active member of Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church and served her community through the Crest Ridge School Board, Rotary, United Way and the MU Extension Council.

Survivors include her husband Roy Lee White; daughters Allison (Brad) Bolt of Warrensburg and Cara (Matt) Duchesne of Gardner, Kansas; brother Dennis (Donna) Rutherford of Warrensburg; grandchildren Baylee (Josh) Aguilar, Peyton (Morgan) Duchesne, Trevor (Macy) Vannoy, Alexa (Niko) Hodkins, Curtis Bales, Carolyn Bolt, Alyssa Duchesne, Aubrey Duchesne, Rosalie Duchesne and Cooper Bolt; and great-grandchildren Mahala Faye Duchesne and Magnolia Mae Aguilar.

She was preceded in death by her son, Travis Duchesne; her parents, Leon and Jewell Rutherford; and her sister, Nancy Kepley.

Private graveside service will be Saturday, June 27, at Liberty Cemetery, Warrensburg. Celebration of Life will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at the Johnson County Fairgrounds, 4 Northwest 50 Highway, Warrensburg.
