Carolyn Ann Brown, age 75, of Warrensburg passed away Saturday January 15, 2022 at her home.

She was born August 16, 1946 in Warrensburg the daughter of Don and Mildred (Joe) Gowin.

On December 5, 1964, she and Calvin Brown were united in marriage in Warrensburg, MO.

Carol enjoyed her KC Chiefs, KC Royals, Bingo, Dancing, a good card game and the annual cornhole tournament she and Calvin threw for family and friends. Carol was a homemaker until her children were grown. Then, she worked at Gates Battery, followed by Wal-Mart where she retired.  After retirement she bought storage units in Leeton, MO and managed those and helped with her and Calvin's rental properties.

Carolyn is survived by her husband Calvin Brown; her children Donald (Traci) Brown of Baker, FL Amy (Brian) Tobin of Warrensburg, MO Danny Brown of Leeton, MO and Scott Franklin of Lake Ozarks, MO; Grandchildren, Allison, Clinton, Wesley, Justin and Austin; Great Grandchildren, Jorja, Dimitri, Harper, Myles, and Colton; Sisters Donna (Howard) Evans of Warrensburg, MO, and Sheri Dillon of Warrensburg, MO; Sister-in-law Connie (David) Williams of Leeton, MO; Brother-in-law James Brown of San Angelo, TX; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and infant sister, Billie Joe Gowin.

Carolyn's graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at the Mineral Creek Cemetery in Leeton, MO.
