Charlotte Louise Fiedler, age 93 of La Monte, MO passed away March 18, 2023 at WMMC in Warrensburg.

She was born in Ogallala, NE on July 28, 1929, daughter of the late Hershel and Francis (Allen) Burnworth. She married Duane D. Fiedler, Sr. on June 8, 1947 in La Monte, MO, who preceded her in death in December 2004.

Charlotte was a stay at home mom and helped Duane with farming and gardening. She would feed the guys lunch during hay season. She enjoyed gardening, taking care of her flowers, and watching the birds at the bird feeders.  She enjoyed doing word search puzzles and coloring pictures to occupy her time. She never said an unkind word towards anyone and always had a smile, especially when the grandbabies came to visit.

Survivors include 4 children, Don Fiedler of La Monte, Terry Fiedler of Sweet Springs, Cheryl (Jerry) Cook of Sedalia and Junior Fiedler (Vicky) of Higginsville; Nine grandchildren, Mindy (Jack) Shull of La Monte, Jennifer Spillars of La Monte, Terry, Jr (Mary) Fiedler of Sweet Springs, Chris (Cat) Fiedler of Sedalia, Jeremy (Destiny) Cook of Jeff City, Kevin (Kristiana) Cook of Sedalia, Amber Cook of Denver, Colorado, Toby (Meagan) Fiedler of Warrensburg, and Cody Fiedler of Higginsville; 30 great grandchildren; and 11 great-great grandchildren plus one on the way. Others include 3 brothers, Orvil Burnworth, Larry Burnworth and Gary Burnworth; 3 Sisters, Jeanie Gilliam, Eleanor Palmer and Mary Pace with multiple nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Duane, and an infant daughter Avis Arlene Fiedler, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Moore Funeral Home in La Monte, MO.
