Cheyenne Joel Whitfield, age 44, of Warrensburg, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.

He was born October 5, 1980, in Lewiston, ID, the son of Joel and Leeann (Maynard) Whitfield.

Cheyenne is survived by his sons, Nolan Whitfield, Alex Whitfield, Eli Whitfield, and Levi Whitfield; their mothers, Christa Phillips and Jamie Lakey; his mother and stepfather, Leeann and Jay Jasper; and his siblings Mark Potter, Barbara Leckliter, Marsha Brooks, Greg Potter, Penny Jasper, Steve Jasper, and John Jasper.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joel Whitfield, and a brother, Scott Whitfield.

From a young age, Cheyenne had a passion for the open road. He started driving early in life, and that love grew into a lifelong journey behind the wheel-from semi-trucks to Harleys, he was always chasing the freedom the road provided. His second love was pool, and if there was a tournament, he was in it, even competing in Las Vegas. Anyone who knew Cheyenne knew he lived Loud and Proud, embracing life with energy and enthusiasm.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until noon on Monday, March 17, 2025, at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 12:30 p.m. in Sunset Hill Cemetery with Tommy Mapes officiating.

Pallbearers will be Nolan Whitfield, Alex Whitfield, Eli Whitfield, John Jasper, Lee Renno, Jake Renno, Glenn Holland, and Michael Griggs. Honorary pallbearers are Chris Rhodes and David Jones.

Cheyenne's adventurous spirit and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
