Obituary

Christina passed away unexpectedly at her home in Olathe, Kansas on April 8th 2026.

She was born to Leonard and Barbara Anderson on July 24, 1971 in Dade County, Florida. In 1972, Leonard moved his family to Chicago, Illinois for a better job opportunity. When Leonard passed away due to medical issues in 1973, Barbara and Christina moved to Columbia Missouri to be closer to Leonard's family living there. While working at the local Sears, Barbara met and married Miles Bair, who treated Christina as a true daughter.

Growing up Christina attended Parkade Elementary School and West Boulevard Jr High School, both in Columbia. Christina graduated from Columbia's Hickman High School before entering college. She attended and graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice form Columbia College. During high school, college and after graduating, Christina worked for Woodhaven, a Christian Church based organization which works with adult individuals with developmental disabilities. She worked both on campus as well as in several individual community-based homes. She spent many years working with and for two exceptional individuals, Joe and Brenda who she felt were family. She believed that working with these exceptional people was her true calling.

During her time at Woodhaven, she met and then married her husband, Terry, who was doing work and training in a therapy setting. Christina and Terry eventually moved to Olathe, Kansas following job growth opportunities. While living in Olathe, Christina continued to work for companies specializing in teaching and working with special individuals. After having two amazing daughters, MaKayla and Keirston, Christina devoted her time to be a loving stay at home mother.

Christina is survived by her husband, Terry, her daughters, MaKayla and Keirston, her mother and Step father, Barbara and Miles Bair. She was preceded in death by her father Leonard Anderson, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ben and Lela Edmondson.
