Leroy David "Dave" Carver, Jr., age 66, of Kingsville, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at his home.

He was born June 13, 1957, in St. Louis, MO, the son of Leroy David Carver, Sr. and Shirley (Robison) Brown.

Dave was loyal to his job of 25 years. His love of nature is something he fostered in his greatest love, his family. He left a legacy of kindness, generosity, and community. He was a father to his children and anyone else who fell into his orbit. He exuded such an abundance of love and generosity that it reached all that he came into contact with.

Dave is survived by his wife of 40 years, Rhonda Carver; his children, Melissa (Samuel) Wellington, Ryan (Chaz) Carver, Jaime Adam (Jacob Kimbrough), and Nicole (Curtis) Marcum; his grandchildren, Kate Adam, Allyson Adam, Adrienne Green, Kiley Marcum, Drew Marcum, Jeremiah Thompson, Bella Marcum, Ayla Marcum, Gavyn Marcum, Olivia Carver, Broderick Carver, Bjorn Carver, and Kynslee Wellington; his great grandchildren, Erik, Penelope, Elizabith, and one on the way; and his siblings, Dennis (Liz) Carver, Curt (Lisa) Carver, and Kerri (Joe) Lammert.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy David Carver, Sr.; his mother, Shirley Brown; and his stepfather, Bob Brown.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday May 18, 2024 at the Kingsville Baptist Church.
