Denver Lee Brattain, Jr., age 60, of Knob Noster, MO, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024, at his home.

He was born January 19, 1964, in Orange, CA, the son of Denver Lee Brattain, Sr. and Vicky Lyn (Inman) Brattain.

On April 11, 1997, he and Debbi Senaldi were united in marriage in Knob Noster.

Denver entered the Air Force in April of 1982. After 22 years of service, he retired in February of 2004.

Denver is survived by his wife, Debbi Brattain; his children, Heather (Nick) Moon, Denver Lee Brattain III, Amanda Brattain, Denny (Angela) Frank, Justin (Leslie) Frank, and Whitney Frank; his mother, Vicky Brattain; his siblings, Clint (Shannon) Brattain, Mia Brattain, Nicky (Waldo) Ferrer, and Lori (Rick) Whiteman; and his grandchildren, Addison, Keegan, Cheyenne, Alana, Mario, and Zoey.

He was preceded in death by his father, Denver Lee Brattain, Sr.

Denver never met a stranger. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home. Interment will follow with full military honors in Missouri State Veteran Cemetery in Higginsville.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Denver's grandchildren's education fund with checks made payable to Debbi Brattain and left in care of the funeral home.
