Donalee Idelle (Hultz) Lichtenthaler, 89, of Warrensburg, MO was received into the arms of the Lord on July 23, 2024. Born January 6, 1935, to Donovan Fairfax and Lillie Idelle (Hawkins) Hultz of Carrolton, MO. She was raised and lived in rural Missouri until she married Addison Benjamin Lichtenthaler (Ben) on October 12, 1958. Dona enjoyed a life of adventure as a military spouse living and traveling the world alongside her husband, during his 20 years of service in the US Air Force. During those years, they were blessed with four children, Marylin Lund, Yvonne Allison, Darlene Meyers, and Howard Lichtenthaler. It was also during that time span, she gave her life to Jesus, was reborn, and answered the call to serve her Lord.

Dona was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed traveling the country on a motorcycle, sponsoring FFA activities, camping, canoeing, fishing, gardening, and visiting with friends and family. A very spiritual lady, she, along with Ben, have been active members of several churches in Johnson County over the past 40 years. She was the hostess of all hostesses when you entered the church or her home. Dona loved people and was described as "Jesus with skin."

Dona is survived by her husband, Ben, children, Mary of McMinnville Oregon, Dee, Centerview, MO, Howard, Koppel, Pennsylvania, grandchildren Jessica Lipke, Heather Meyers, and Christopher Meyers. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Yvonne.

A Memorial service is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. at the Life Church of the Nazarene, 603 E. Hale Lake Rd, Warrensburg, MO on July 27, 2024. The church will open for visitation by friends and family at 3:00 p.m.
