Donnie G. Frizzell, of Centerview, MO, passed away on June 24, 2026, at the age of 81 at his home surrounded by his wife, son, and daughter. He was born on March 15, 1945 in Deepwater, MO, to Ethel M. Palmer.

He married Connie I. Johnson on May 2,1964 in Independence, MO. They were blessed with two children, three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

They started their life together in Independence, MO and moved to Kingsville, MO in 1976. Ten years later they bought a small farm outside of Centerview, MO and grew hay and raised registered black angus cattle.

Donnie was employed by Armco Steel and GST Steel Company for 37 years. After retirement, he started woodworking creating beautiful pieces of furniture for his wife and children. He was a master gardener, and loved being outdoors. He loved being with his kids, grandkids, and great-grandchild. He published a children's book of true stories (with light-hearted exaggerations) of their adventures together.

Donnie and Connie were snowbirds for many years and took off every year after Christmas with their fifth-wheel for Gulf Shores, AL and Vero Beach, FL.

Donnie is survived by his wife of 62 years. Son, Robert C. Frizzell (LeAnn); daughter, Holly S. Bennett (Dusty). Grandsons, Dayton J. Bennett and Jeremiah W. Bennett (Alison). Granddaughter, Cheyane M. Greenwell (Mason); and great-grandson, Omega K. McRoberts. Brothers-n-law, William R. Johnson (Marilyn) and Jeff Foster (Stephanie). Sisters-n-law, Rita Woolery (James), Pat Frizzell, and Rita Frizzell. Along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Frizzell; and brothers, R.J. Frizzell and Leslie Frizzell.

He will be cremated with a memorial held at a later date.
