Dora Mae Smith passed away on August 5, 2025, in Warrensburg, Missouri. She was born to Thomas James Smith and Dorothy Faye Corning.

Dora is survived by her siblings: Helen Whitsitt, Duane Thowe, Wanda Smith, Sally Rathbun, Gene Smith, Tina Campbell, and Joe Smith. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Sarah Battles, Amanda Campbell, and Alan Woods Jr.; her great-nieces and great-nephews: Emma Campbell, Sammy Battles, Ashley Hoover, Haven Woods, and Austin Woods; and her great-great-niece and nephew, Avery and Wyatt Hoover.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Tony Smith and Jimmy Smith.

Dora was loved by everyone who knew her and loved others unconditionally. She never met a stranger and treated all her nieces and nephews with special care and boundless affection.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
