Dorothy N. Dillon, age 93, of La Monte, MO, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Syliva G. Thompson Residence Center in Sedalia.

She was born August 16, 1930, in La Monte, the daughter of Willard and Lucille (DeLapp) Hall. She attended La Monte High School.

On January 1, 1947, she and Donald Dillon were united in marriage in La Monte.

Dorothy loved her family and visiting with her friends. She enjoyed traveling, flowers, and gardening.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Sue Harrison, Sedalia, Rick Dillon and Mandy, Sedalia, Patty (Bob) Wheeler, Sedalia, Steve Dillon, Sedalia, and Karen (David) Gerken, La Monte. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Dillon; her parents, Willard and Lucille Hall; a son, Ronnie Dillon; and two brothers, Melvin Hall and Rhea Hall.

The family will receive friends from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Moore Funeral Home in La Monte. A private burial will follow in La Monte Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Sedalia Animal Shelter, the La Monte Cemetery Association, or the La Monte Christian Church and left in care of the funeral home.
