Elizabeth Grace Lightfoot, 20, of Warrensburg, MO, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Center Point Hospital in Independence, MO.

She was born on November 10, 2000 in Clinton, MO, the daughter of Greg (Gordo) Lightfoot and Melissa (DeLarm) Lightfoot.

Grace was a loving young lady who had a passion for helping others. She grew up in Warrensburg, MO, and was a 2019 graduate of Warrensburg High School. Grace was involved in National Honor Society, basketball, cross country, band and various other clubs. She was scheduled to graduate May 7, 2021 at State Fair Community College in Sedalia, MO. She planned to attend the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg this fall. When not attending college, Grace could be found working at Fitters restaurant in downtown Warrensburg with a smile and a pep in her step. Grace continues her service by being an organ donor to help save other lives.

Grace was a Christian who was confirmed at the First United Methodist Church and attended Northside Christian Church. She was selfless, always listening to others with kindness and supporting her family, friends and community. She was a wonderful and caring big sister to her brother Parker and sister Audrey.

Grace is survived by her parents, Greg and Melissa Lightfoot, her brother Parker and sister Audrey, of Warrensburg, MO; maternal grandparents Dale and Saundra DeLarm of Florence, MO; paternal grandparents Harry and wife Vickie Lightfoot, and Nancy Lightfoot of Slater, MO; aunts, uncles and cousins.

Private services for family will be held Wednesday, May 12, at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren funeral home with Pastor Sid Tiller officiating.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 22, at PLAYERS ballroom. The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m.

Because of the love Grace had for animals, the family suggests memorial contributions to Old Drum Animal Shelter or Johnson County Board of Services Foundation due to Autism in the family. Both are located in Warrensburg, MO.
