Elizabeth "Liz" Francis Tuttle, age 74, of Warrensburg, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City. She was surrounded by family and friends.

She was born December 22, 1949, in Richmond, KY, the daughter of Sherman and Mabel (Pittman) Stamper.

Elizabeth was employed by Unitog Clothing Company for 21 years. Following that she worked at CenturyLink for 12 years, retiring in 2011. During retirement she enjoyed spending time with loved ones as often as possible.

Elizabeth never met a stranger and made everyone in her life feel cared for and important. She was always available to lend a helping hand and provide a warm meal.

Elizabeth is survived by her sons, Chris Tuttle and Steve Tuttle. Her siblings, Carolyn Newton, Mary Ann Hobbs (Raymond), Theresa Stamper, and Jimmy Stamper. Chosen family, Loretta Bauer (Ron Crossland) and her three children - Matt, Jacob, and Amanda. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, and very close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jackie Stamper and Duke Stamper. She was also preceded in death by her long term partner, of over 40 years, Bill Beard.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home with Pastor Sid Tiller officiating. Interment will follow in Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve Tuttle, Matt Bauer, Jacob Bauer, Ricky Clem, Kevin Strathman, and Keith Strathman.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg, MO.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Johnson County Food Center and left in care of the funeral home.
