George William Donaldson Jr., 88, of Warrensburg, MO, passed away at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cameron, MO, on March 6, 2024.

George was born on April 21, 1935, in Merced, CA, to George William Donaldson Sr. and Margaret May Donaldson (Marshbank), George spent his childhood in Council Bluffs, IA.

After serving four years in the U.S. Coast Guard, stationed in Boston, MA, George lived in Kansas City, MO, where he worked at General Motors, Ridge Con Steel, and later Puritan Bennett. On August 17, 1990, he married Patricia Fielden in Kansas City, MO.

George's hobbies included playing the guitar and violin, as well as pursuits such as gem cutting, stained glass crafting, and building crystal radios. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Margaret Donaldson, two sisters, Mary Ann Stover and Doris May Stover, stepson Robert Fielden Jr., and step-grandson Caleb Adams.

He is survived by his wife Patricia, one stepdaughter Pam Adams (Lawrence), and two stepsons Randy Fielden and Mike Fielden, along with two step-grandchildren Tiffany Imke and Colton Fielden.

A graveside service to honor George's memory will be held at The Higginsville Veterans Cemetery on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 3:00 P.M.
