Gladys Marie "GBell" Blalack, age 99, of Warrensburg, passed away peacefully Friday, March 1, 2024, at Western Missouri Medical Center with her daughter at her side.

GBell was born June 10, 1924, in Amsterdam, MO, the daughter of Verne and Evelyn (Erickson) Bell.

After two years of college, she met Madison Blalack and married him in May of 1948. They were blessed with one child, Angela Duncan.

She worked as a supervisor in Base Supply at Whiteman Air Force Base for many years. Her hobbies included travel, reading, China painting, and spending time with her family.

G. Bell is survived by her daughter, Angela Duncan; her granddaughters, Stacy (Mike) Walsh and Molly (Michael) Wable; great granddaughters, MacKenzie Corbett and Mirabelle Wable; great grandsons, Max Wable and Miles Wable; and great great grandchildren, Ky'rina Golden and Legend Golden.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Madison Blalack; her parents; and her sisters, Louise Smith and Renie Wittman.

She will be remembered for her strong faith in God and her caring spirit.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 11, 2024, at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
