Gracie Marie Brown, daughter of Joshua and Alysha Brown, was welcomed into their loving arms at home on the morning of October 9, 2026. She was laid to rest that evening in a private graveside service at Pisgah Cemetery in Chilhowee, Missouri.

At their 20-week anatomy scan, Joshua and Alysha learned that their precious daughter had a life limiting condition that would not allow her to survive outside the womb. Despite their devastation, they chose to treasure every moment they were given with her, celebrating her life as a gift from God.

Though her time on Earth was brief, Gracie was knit together on purpose and for a purpose. Her life will forever serve as a testimony to the immeasurable value of every human life and the eternal purpose each life holds.

Gracie leaves behind her loving parents, Joshua and Alysha Brown; her four siblings, Griffin, Macklin, Abigale, and Lainey Brown; her grandparents, Daniel (Cathy) Brown of Holden, Missouri, Vickie (Ross) Dale of Richmond, Missouri, and Luann Brown of Kansas City, Missouri; and her great-grandfather, Harold Brown of Holden, Missouri; as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins who were eagerly awaiting the opportunity to shower her with love.

Gracie was preceded in death by her grandfather, Billy Darnell of Dover, Missouri; and her great-grandparents, Mary Margaret Brown of Holden, Missouri, and Sammy and Gale Green of Richmond, Missouri.

Though her time in their arms was fleeting, Gracie has left a lasting imprint on the hearts of all who loved her and her memory will be cherished forever.

A memorial ceremony will be announced at a later date.
