Imadean Denny Rust, age 89, met her Lord on May 10, 2022 in Warrensburg, MO.

Imadean was born in 1932 to Robert and Lutie Rager in Sharon Grove, Kentucky where she grew up and was educated.

She was married to James E. Rust of Russelville, KY in 1950 until his passing in 1997. Two sisters, Edna B. Waggoner and Terry L. Kirkman, also preceded her in death.

Imadean is survived by her brother Charles W. Rager (Mary) of Kearney, MO, her daughter Sherry Parkhurst (Kyle) of Gallatin, MO, her son James A. Rust of Warrensburg, MO, her granddaughter Jill M. Hill (Jay) and her great-grandson Jeb of Renick, MO.

Having lived in Windsor, MO for over 50 years, Ima was proud of having taught teens and young adults at the First Assembly of God Church. Her favorite quote which she inscribed in many students' bibles was: "Only one life will soon be past; only what's done for Christ will last."

A sweet, southern lady, Imadean will be missed by many.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 27, 2022 at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg, MO.
