Jane Elizabeth Shelton (Colster) passed away on June 19, 2023, at the age of 77. She was born on June 18, 1946, in Warrensburg, MO, to the late Marvin Colster and Kathryn Dudley (Colster). Jane's kind heart and vibrant spirit touched the lives of those around her.

Jane had a deep love for animals and found solace and companionship in their presence. She was also an avid player of Canasta and cherished the time spent with her girlfriends, creating cherished memories of laughter and camaraderie. Jane had a special fondness for roosters, finding their vibrant colors and crowing to be a source of joy.

As a dedicated and hardworking woman, Jane owned and operated a successful Medical Transcriptionist business. Her daughters were her pillars of support, working alongside her and contributing to the business's growth and success. Jane's commitment to her work and the care she provided to others made a lasting impact in the field.

Jane's pursuit of knowledge and personal growth led her to achieve her bachelor's degree, a testament to her determination and intellectual curiosity.

Jane leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold her in their hearts. She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Nolte-Stinnett, and her husband Lee of Maceo, KY; her son, Brandon Montiel of Warrensburg, MO; her daughter, Nicole Nolte-Holloway of Linn Creek, MO. her brother Gerry Colster of Huntsville, AL., niece Shannon Colster-Johnson(Kyle) nephew Christopher Colster(Evelyn) of Huntsville, AL. Jane was also blessed with grandchildren: Morgan McCance and her husband Kevan of Warrensburg, MO; Tyler Kennedy and his wife Mandy of Kingsville, MO; Clayton McMullin of Holden, MO; Hunter Roberts and his wife Chloe of Lafayette, IN; Tristan Cook and her husband Shayne of Columbia, MO; Mason Roberts of Lafayette, IN, and Lakota Holloway of Linn Creek, MO. Jane was also a proud great-grandmother to eleven great-grandchildren a great nephew and two great nieces.

Jane was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bo Shelton, and her parents, Marvin and Kathryn.

A funeral service to honor Jane's life will be held on Monday, June 26, 2023, at 10:30 AM at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg, Missouri. Prior to the service, a visitation will take place from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Following the service, a graveside ceremony will be held at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Warrensburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family, with checks payable to Leslie Stinnett.
