Jimmy Dale Hook, age 81, of Warrensburg passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021 at his home.

He was born May 12, 1939 in Willows, CA the son of Carl Leslie and Juanita (Rex) Hook.

On March 22, 1959 he and Joyce Allen were united in marriage at the First Baptist Church in Lee's Summit, MO.

Jimmy could be found at the Missouri State Fair on opening day every year for more than 60 years.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Joyce Hook; his children, Robin (Kevin) Luber, Kelly Calhoon and friend Clint Springer, and Todd (Sue) Hook; his grandchildren, Rachel (Larry) McKenzie, Joshua Luber, Cody (Tiffanie) Mayberry, Dakota Hook, Hunter Calhoon, Andy (Kelli) Chaffin, and Brent (Mindy) Chaffin; 12 great grandchildren; his sisters, Martha Yancey, Leslie Adams, and Cheryl Hook; a sister-in-law, LaDean (Lee) Kirchhoff; and two brothers-in-law, Gale Allen and Gary (Dolores) Allen.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Juanita Hook; a sister, Jo Ann (Hook) Shackelford; and a brother, Gerald Hook.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, March 1, 2021 at Liberty Baptist Church in Fayetteville. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.
