John Cecil Boeck, 82, of Lee's Summit, Missouri, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2026.

He was born on January 1, 1944, in Kanas City, Kansas, the son of John and Joan Boeck.

On March 12, 1967, he was united in marriage to Sue Smith. They shared many wonderful years together.

He is survived by his wife; one son, John W. and wife Lisa Boeck; Sisters, Joan Smith and  Debbie Harrison; grandchildren, Gavin, Jackson and Lilly Boeck; Niece, Georgia Jenkins; Nephew, Jamie Brown; and one great-grandchild, Wesli Boeck.

John was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved dog of eighteen years, Missy.

A private celebration of life will take place at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Warrensburg Veterans Home and left in care of the funeral home.
