John Thomas "JT" Reed age 92, of Knob Noster, MO. passed away at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, MO on Tuesday, November 30, 2021.

JT was born on August 30, 1929, North of Knob Noster in the Valley City Community. He was the son of John T. Reed and Wilma Frances Phillips-Reed.

JT attended elementary School in the Valley City Community and In 1947 JT graduated from Warrensburg High School.

JT had lived and farmed in the community all of his life and was a member of the Valley City Christian Church. He also served in the National Guard for 11 years.

JT was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters; Charlene Droege and Mary Alice Welch.

JT is survived by his partner Joan Thee Marsh of Sedalia MO, 3 nieces; Sharon Lockard, Janet Borcher, and Ronda Carleton and nephew Lonnie Welch all of Warrensburg and many great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg, Missouri. A graveside service will follow the funeral at Sunset Hill Cemetery, Warrensburg Missouri.
