Johnny "John" Schnakenberg, age 63, of Warrensburg, MO passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO.

John was born on April 23, 1957 the son of William and Shirley (Seats) Schnakenberg in Warrensburg, Mo.

He and Sandra "Sandy" (Smith) were married on April 15, 2000 in Warrensburg.

John is survived by his wife, Sandy, of the home, and  his children; Jason Carrender, Jami (Stephanie) Schnakenberg, J.T. Schnakenberg and Cassie Hook.  He is also survived by his grandchildren, Cyris, Cole, Archer, Elle and William Schnakenberg, Novella Carrender, and Lucy Surface as well as a brother, Richard Schnakenberg.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be held on Friday, February 5, 2021 at 2 PM at Sweeney-Phillips and Holdren Funeral Home. The family will receive  friends from noon until service time at the funeral home.

Interment will be held at Sunset Hill Cemetery following the service.

The Celebration of Life will be held at Players Restaurant following cemetery services at 3 pm.

In lieu of flowers, all donations will be donated to the Warrensburg Animal Rescue.
