Judy Jane Pierce, age 84, of Warrensburg, passed away Monday, September 4, 2023 at Warrensburg Manor Care Center.

She was born October 10, 1938 in Emporia, KS, the daughter of Dale and Anna (Bowersox) Stinson.

On July 29, 1956, she and Robert Benjamin Pierce, Sr. were united in marriage in Emporia. He preceded her in death on July 26, 2012.

Judy is survived by her son, Robert B. "Ben" Pierce, Jr. and wife Suzanne; her daughter-in-law, Angie Pierce; and her grandchildren, Sabrena Brewer and Johnathon (Ella) Pierce.

She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher R.N. Pierce; her parents; and her siblings, Buzz Stinson, Dale Stinson, John Stinson, Robert Stinson, and Betty Stinson.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 8, 2023 at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home. Burial will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 9, in Maplewood Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Emporia, KS.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Warrensburg and can be left in care of the funeral home.
