Obituary

Sadly, we have lost a beautiful soul. Julie passed away in her sleep peacefully.

She was a most creative artist and a chef "extraordinaire". Julie was the chef/owner of the Café Blackadder in Warrensburg, MO for 12 years.

It was her greatest pleasure to offer "the Burg" a place to gather, eat good food, enjoy time with friends, and for local artists to display their works. In opening her café, Julie opened her heart to people.

Some of her most precious memories were made when she was river rafting, floating, and camping. Thank you to any and all who shared those times with her. They meant more than you know!

Julie attended St. Peter's grade school in KCMO, Bishop Miege High School in KS, and graduated with a degree in studio art from what is now the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg.

There is so much more we could say about Julie, but you will have your own stories to share, and we pray that you do.

No formal services will be held per her request.

SO, here are Julie's instructions:

"Gather together with friends, eat GOOD food, tell beautiful/silly stories, swear some and remember me"

Thank you all for caring about our Julie.
