Karen Jean Dickenson of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away February 10, 2021.

She was born December 21, 1939 in Gould, Colorado to Amos and Opal Stewart Quick. Karen moved to Missouri as a child but always loved the mountain country of Colorado.

She married James Dickenson of Hermitage, Missouri on February 14, 1959. Together they raised a family in Blairstown, Missouri. She loved reading, studying about local indigenous people, arrowhead hunting, and antique jewelry. She amassed great collections throughout her life.

Her husband James and daughter Jamie Ann Dickenson preceded her in death.

She is survived by three daughters and a son: Jean Antes (Mark), Victoria Sweitzer (Chris), Grace Shumate (Mike Gibson), and Stewart Dickenson (Kari Culley); nine grandchildren: Chris Antes, Mark Antes, Kyle Sweitzer, Cameron Sweitzer, Kelsey McClaflin, Joe Shumate, Jessica Shaffer, Josh Stoneking, and Dalton Huber; and fourteen  great-grandchildren.

Though she was always interested in meeting and talking to people, her greatest pleasure was being home. She will be greatly missed by her family.
