She was born August 15, 1948 in Zalma, MO the daughter of Russell and Irene (Fowler) Stilts. She graduated from Wellston High School in 1966.

In Karen's younger years she enjoyed being a cheerleader. She also did barrel racing, and had a love for horses. She had many obstacles placed in her path but she always came out fighting strong. She had a lot of sass and an insatiable sense of humor. She had a lot of love for others and especially for her family.  She will be greatly missed, but we are grateful that she has her new body in her heavenly home. Feathers and wings.
