Kenneth D. Brant was born on September 10th, 1971, in Warrensburg, MO, to Emory Dale Brant and Anna M. Frerking.

Kenny graduated from Knob Noster High in 1989. He graduated from SFCC in 1991 with an Associate Degree in Agriculture.

He married Stephanie Anne Roberts on December 2nd, 1991, in Knob Noster, MO.

In 1997 Kenny and Stephanie moved to Iowa for Kenny to start work in construction for his brother-in-law Rick Everts. He worked in construction for 26 years on erection of commercial metal buildings. In 2023, he made a major career change and fulfilled his childhood dream of becoming a semi-truck driver. He said it was the best thing that had happened to him career wise.

In 2003, in June, Kenny and Stephanie had a son, Jacob Dale Brant, our son was his greatest joy and pride. When Jake turned 15, Kenny and Jake decided to put the pulling truck back together so Jake could drive it. That started a great bonding of father and son and such a source of pride and happiness for Kenny. Frankenstein was born and is still going today.

Kenny loved talking to everyone, enjoyed being at pulling events and learning from and helping fellow pullers and being with family. Everyone who knew Kenny knows he was always smiling and giving someone a hard time.

He is survived by his wife Stephanie of 35 years; son, Jacob Brant (daughter-in-law, Megan); granddaughter, Maisie Lynn; mother, Ann Frerking Brant McCown (Thomas) of Sedalia, MO; two sisters, Debbie Arnold of Concordia, MO and Connie Everts (Rick) of Bardstown, KY; one niece, Tiffany Everts Preston (Levi) of Bardstown, KY; one nephew, Alan Arnold (Hailey); two great nieces, Wren and Everleigh; uncle, Jr Frerking (Pat) of Sedalia, MO; aunt, Fern Giandelone (Johnny) Morgan City, LA; uncle, Charlie Brant of Knob Noster, MO; aunt, Sharon Brant of Knob Noster, MO; mother-in-Law and father-in-Law David and Donna Roberts of Warrensburg, MO; brother-in law, Matt Roberts (Julie) of Carrolton, TX and multiple cousins on the Frerking and Brant side of the family.

Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Emory Dale Brant; paternal grandmother and grandfather, Emerson and Helen Brant; maternal grandmother and grandfather, Herbert and Mary Frerking; uncles, Bill Frerking, Rich Brant and JD Brant; aunts, Mary Brant and Shelby Brant and brother-in-law, David Arnold.

A service will be held on Monday, August 10, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., at the Heartland Church in Knob Noster, MO, interment to follow at the Knob Noster Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital and may be left in care of the funeral home.
