Larry F. Powell passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at the age of 65 after finally losing his battle with prostate cancer.

Larry F. Powell was born in Sedalia MO on February 17, 1957, to parents Franklin Powell and Bernice Powell (Hall). He married the love of his life Wendy Powell from Odessa MO in October of 1978. In November 1979; they had their 1 ^st and only child LaTonya Powell.

He is a former Employee of Boeing from 1983 to 1993 in Wichita, Kansas. In winter of 1993, Larry moved his family to Atlanta, Georgia due to a New Career in Property Management as a Maintenance Supervisor. Larry's love of Maintenance continued for the next 29 years in which he retired in April of 2022.

Larry Powell was preceded in death by his Wife Wendy M. Powell, Parents Franklin & Bernice Powell (Hall), Brothers David Forbrush Jr., Perry Charles Rucker, Grandmother Ruth M. Thomas, In-Laws Floyd & Hellen Smith, Sister In-Law Susan A. Powell.

He is survived by his daughter LaTonya Powell, grandsons Kyre Patrick & Omari Daniels. His brothers Gary L. Powell SR., Calvin Powell & Rodney Powell. Also by many Nieces and Nephews including LaShaunda Powell, Kelli Powell, and Gary Powell Jr. As well as many Great Nieces and Nephews including Alicia Stallings, Carter Johnson and Ayden Wactor.

Larry Powell's Celebration of life will be held July 16, 2022 at Knob Noster Cemetery at 3:00 pm.
