Laura Jean Bollmeyer, age 62, of Warrensburg, passed away Monday, March 16, 2026 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City.

She was born May 20, 1963, in Wichita Falls, TX, the daughter of Johnny and Mary (Hamilton) Brooks.

On September 4, 1999, she and Raymond Bollmeyer were united in marriage in Warrensburg.

Laura is survived by her husband, Raymond; sisters, Debra (R.J.) Gerhart and Julia Kerr; a brother, John Brooks; her father, Johnny Brooks; a step-daughter, Elizabeth Bollmeyer; nephews, Michael (Amber) Gerhart, Matthew (Tessa) Gerhart, and John "David" Brooks; a niece, Amanda Brooks; and a great-nephew, Ashton Gerhart.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Brooks.

Services to honor both Laura Bollmeyer, and her mother, Mary Brooks, will be held on March 29, 2026 at the Church of Christ, 722 S. Maguire St, Warrensburg, MO 64093. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. A song service will be held from 3:00-3:30 p.m. Fellowship with finger foods will be held from 3:30-4:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Church of Christ where both Laura and Mary were members.
