Lucy Annabelle Johnson, age 85, of Warrensburg passed away Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Warrensburg Manor Care Center.

She was born November 25, 1934 in Warrensburg the daughter of John Henry and Anna Reed.

On September 2, 1952, she and Harvey Johnson were united in marriage.

Lucy spent many years working in food service at UCM. She also worked in the nursing field and did housekeeping.

Lucy is survived by her daughter, Isabelle (Clifford) Dobelbower of Warrensburg; grandchildren, Rosemary Lewis and William Lewis II; step granddaughter, Stephanie Woods; great grandchildren, Lissarra Melton, Desiree Lewis, and Samantha Lewis; siblings Baby Lou Collins, John Henry Reed, Mary Coppage, Willie Reed; and other kinfolk.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a daughter Anna Bratton; and siblings Charles Reed, Roosevelt Reed, Janetta Collins, Nadine Williams, and Vera Hicks.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2020 at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.
