Lucy Jean Skaggs, age 90, of Centerview passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021.

She was born January 11, 1931 in Axtell, TX, the daughter of James Newton and Alice (West) Ingram.

She was married to Winford Owen Skaggs. He preceded her in death.

Lucy was a strong woman. She helped raise her brothers and sisters. She would work many jobs from a young age. After one shift waiting tables, her car broke down, and she walked 12 miles in the snow to get home.

Lucy had a very large family including 19 siblings and 14 children.

A private service will be held at the family's plot in Miracle Ridge Cemetery.
