Margaret Ann Lee was born February 16, 1939, to Georgia and John Lee Sr. of Centerview, MO. She passed on December 14, 2021, surrounded by family.

She lived and grew up at the family farm with her younger brother John Jr.

She attended College High School in Warrensburg and later graduated from Central Missouri State University with a teaching degree. She taught in Fort Scott, Kansas, then in Waverly, Missouri.

She married Ralph C Sperry in 1961, having a son, Christopher Lee. In 1964, she married Donald L Bardgett having her second son, John Samuel.

After teaching for several years, she then went on to work for the Missouri Division of Employment Security. For more than 30 years, she helped many people find gainful employment & confidence in themselves.

She was an active member of several historical organizations & enjoyed researching family genealogy.

She enjoyed traveling, visiting relatives, and taking part in family events.

She is survived by Christopher & Charlotte Sperry, John S Bardgett, Grandchildren Solana and Gabriel Sperry, plus numerous nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be at 1:00 pm December 22, 2021 at Sweeney Phillips Funeral Home, Warrensburg, MO, with funeral to follow. Burial will be at Blackwater Cemetery in Holden, MO.
