Marvin Lloyd Patterson of Warrensburg, MO, passed away Tuesday November 9, 2021, at Country Club Care Center in Warrensburg, MO.

He was born on November 13, 1946, in Warrensburg, MO to Albert and Jewel Barnes Patterson.

Marvin was united in marriage to Carol Elaine (Courtney) Kendrick on July 15, 1994.

Marvin is survived by his daughter Teresa "Tracy" (Thurl "LT") Howard of Warrensburg, MO and their children Katrina, Krysta and Kyle Coggin; daughter Shelly (Nathan) Keys of Centerview, MO and their children Macy and Clayton Keys; stepson Tony (Rhonda) Kendrick of Warrensburg, MO and their children Olivia Tweedie, Lonnie and Steven Kendrick and 10 great grandchildren.

A lifelong Warrensburg resident, Marvin will be remembered by many who worked for him at the Ku Ku Drive-In, Warrensburger Drive-In, or Jr. Ann's Restaurant at the University Inn. Later, he retired as the sales manager at Warrensburg Cycle.

Marvin was an avid golfer, and enjoyed playing men's softball league in his younger years. He was a Royals and Chiefs fan and enjoyed following his teams. Marvin found much pleasure in gardening and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his wife Carol Patterson; his parents Albert and Jewel Patterson; and brothers Bill and Joe Patterson.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg, Missouri. The family will receive visitors from 1:00 p.m. until service time. A graveside service will follow the funeral at Warrensburg Memorial Gardens.
