Mary Bernice Marsh of rural Warrensburg, the daughter of James Blevins and Ruth (Gillilan) Blevins was born on a farm near Higginsville on August 25, 1930.

She graduated from Higginsville High School in 1948.

On July 11, 1948, she married Gene E. Marsh who preceded her in death on January 31, 1999. She was also preceded in death by a son, Larry Ray Marsh on April 21, 1985, and three brothers, Howard Blevins, Raymond Blevins. Leslie Blevins and sister Jane Blevins Bear.

Survivors are son Darrell Marsh and wife Julia of Warrensburg; daughter-in-law Linda Meineka and husband Larry of Concordia, five grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, a brother-in-law, Donald Marsh and wife Margie and ten nieces and three nephews.

She was a member of the Oak Grove Community Church.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the Oak Grove Community Church in Higginsville, Missouri, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held following the visitation with Ron Marsh officiating. A graveside service will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers include David Marsh, Dwayne Marsh, Aaron Marsh, Bradley Meineka, Adam Blevins and Adam Bear.

Memorials are suggested to the Oak Grove Cemetery or the Oak Grove Community Church and left in care of the funeral home.
