Mary Geane Morley, age 76, of Belton, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at St. Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit, MO.

She was born on September 8, 1945 in Kansas City, MO to Clarice Doak Wanashko and Jimmy Alfrey. She grew up in Warrensburg and graduated from Warrensburg High School in 1963.

Mary Geane was united in marriage to Gary Morley August 18, 1966, in Warrensburg, MO.

She was a loving mom, grandma, and aunt.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Warrensburg and loved being a part of the Warrensburg Community.

Mary Geane is survived by her daughter Gina Stevens and husband Craig of Lee's Summit, MO; son Brian Morley of Lee's Summit, MO; granddaughter Taylor Stevens; grandsons Brandon Stevens and Tristan Stevens; sister Carlene Mease of Nixa; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Gary Morley; brother Larry Wanashko; and sisters Diane Tacke and Lavonne "Bonnie" Montgomery.

Memorial services will be held Monday, April 11, 2021 at 11:00 am at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home with Pastor Gina Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until service time Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Missouri Baptist Cancer Research Center and can be left in care of the funeral home.
