Mary Lou Whaley, age 80, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025, in Amoret, Missouri.

She was born on Sunday, October 1, 1944, in Warrensburg, Missouri, the daughter of John and Ruby (Galloway) Pfaff.

Mary was united in marriage to her husband, Roy Whaley on May 14, 1989, in Warrensburg, Missouri. He preceded her in death on January 28, 2018.

She is survived by her daughter; Michelle Smith and her spouse John Rodabaugh, and her son; John Prince, along with nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 7, 2025, at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg, Missouri. A funeral will follow the visitation at the funeral home with Mike Wriston officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., at the Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to the Warrensburg Animal Shelter and may be left in care of the funeral home.
