Michael "Mike" Shane Brant, age 52, of Warrensburg, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022, at his home in Warrensburg.

He was born on December 26, 1969 in Kansas City, MO, the son of Jim and Kitty (Dudley) Brant. He was a lifelong resident of Warrensburg, MO. Mike graduated from Warrensburg High School in 1988. Mike worked at Alewel's Meats, Home Lumber, Hazmat, over-the-road truck driver in addition to having his landscaping business. He married Toni on December 6, 2013 in Warrensburg, MO.

Mike had been a member of the Grover Park Baptist Church and Harmony Baptist Church. Mike loved the Lord and really enjoyed Gospel music.

He had an enormous love for his dogs, leaving behind two of his best companions, Tuffy and Rowdy. Mike always had an open heart for his friends, family, and even strangers.

Survivors in addition to his wife are father (Jim); mother (Kitty); sister Jackie Krise (George) of Bossier City, LA; brother Troy Brant (Lisa) of Warrensburg, MO; nephews Brent Krise of Bossier City, LA, Tyler Brant of Warrensburg, MO, and Zachary Brant of Brattleboro, VT; niece Gracie Brant of Warrensburg, MO; two great-nieces Kenzie and Karlie Brant of Warrensburg, MO; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Mike was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Jim and Mae Dudley; his paternal grandparents Cecil and Oliva Brant; and three uncles Jim Dudley, Blackie Dudley, and Ken Hutsell.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
