Rhonda Baker was a loving and caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She left our world on April 29, 2024 after an amazing and courageous battle with cancer.

She was born to Sharen Kay Smalley and Paul Leroy Smalley on November 2, 1968 in Boone, IA. She came with her mother to Knob Noster, MO where she lived with her stepfather Harold Ray. She spent her summers having fun in the sun, had her first son Roy Baker, later met her forever partner Rodney Powell, had three more children Ryan Baker, Rustin Powell, and Ranessa Baker, and also met her stepdaughter Keyosha Powell. From those children she had 14 grandchildren.

Rhonda was known for bringing the party with her. She loved spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren, fishing, spending time outside, and having a fish fry. She was the rock of the family and held everyone together no matter the situation. If you ever needed a shoulder to cry on, she would always find time for you. She has touched the hearts of so many and will be missed dearly.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on May 4, 2024 at Knob Noster Cemetery (1122 NE 75, Knob Noster, MO 65336) with a reception planned afterwards. In lieu of flowers, please bring food for reception. Donations for the funeral are also welcome and appreciated.
