Rick Simons sadly passed away on January 18th 2023 at their home in Knob Noster, MO. He was a wonderful man who spread joy and happiness wherever he went, whether it was by offering a listening ear or giving heartfelt advise, he always made his family and friends feel special. He enjoyed watching football, he was a Vikings fan and was always cracking a joke. Rick was loved by so many and will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts..

Rick was preceded in death by Father:  Orin Simons.  Mother Bonnie (Castle) and stepdad Al Dockendorf.

He leaves behind brothers Ron (Deb) Simons of Lake Linden, Michigan, Randy of Cross Lake, Minnesota and Rodney (Kim) Simons of Annandale. Stepbrother Dan (Tracy) Dockendorf of Howard Lake, Minnesota. Nephews Corky, Ramsey, Perry and niece Samantha Simons. Best friend and Co-parent Shelly Winter. Step Daughters Anna Winter of Knob Noster, Missouri and Krystal (Nick) Sharwarko of Wichita Kansas and step son Josh (Megan) Bentley of Sedalia, Missouri, Cody (Jenika) Winter. Granddaughters Zoey Herron and Emma Sharwarko.

As per Rick's request, no funeral or memorial service will be held at this time. There will be a small celebration of life in the Summer, date to be announced.
