Robert William Greenwood Jr., age 61, of Warrensburg, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2026, in Warrensburg.

Robert was born October 19, 1964, in Independence, Missouri, to Robert William Greenwood Sr. and Donna Sue (Netz) Manser.

For more than 20 years, Robert proudly worked at the Missouri Veterans Home in Warrensburg, where he helped provide meals to the residents. His dedication to serving others was an important part of his life.

Robert was a creative and artistic person who enjoyed collecting memorabilia. He was a devoted Kansas City Chiefs fan and was well known for his love of the outdoors. He found joy in the things he collected, the places he explored, and the interests that made him uniquely himself.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Johanna Greenwood; his sisters, Kelly Holder (Brad) and Vicki Frazier (Darrow); his brothers, Todd Crockett and Troy Greenwood (Paula); and his former wife, Julie (Greenwood) Koenig.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert William Greenwood Sr. and Donna Sue (Netz) Manser, and his stepmother, Jeanette Greenwood.

A service will be held privately by the family at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Missouri Veterans Home in Warrensburg, Missouri, in Robert's memory.
