Robert Lee Lantz, age 82, of Windsor peacefully passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at his home.

Robert was born to John and Opal May Rita Lantz February 4, 1940, in Wheeling, West Virginia.

He was united in marriage to Alicia Gonzalez Pizana December 6, 1986, in Las Vegas, NV.

Robert was a Lifetime Member of the NRA and a member of the Sons of the American Revolution Warrensburg Chapter.

There will be many around Windsor who will remember him in parades and spontaneous appearances in his Sons of the American Revolution uniform. He was a chef in the 70s at La Costa Country Club in southern CA where he served stars like Robert Young, Robert Mitchell, and Johnny Weissmuller. He was a descendant nephew of George Washington. He was also a local plumber and handyman serving many in Windsor.

Robert was preceded in death by two daughters: Patricia Lantz and Robin Rose.

He is survived by his wife Alicia, brothers Joseph Lantz and John Lantz, granddaughter Amy Wall and her husband Everett, several great grandchildren, nephews, and nieces, as well as many great friends.

There will be memorial for Robert at St. Bartholomew's Catholic Church 504 E Benton St, Windsor, MO on Tuesday, April 5th. Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11. Mass begins at 11am with a meal to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a remembrance to Sons of the American Revolution, which may be left in the care of the funeral home.
