Roger Dewey Lawrence, of Leeton, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025. He was born May 31, 1940, in Butler, Missouri, to Orville and Shelita Lawrence.

Roger was united in marriage to Dorothy Mae Lawrence on February 13, 1994, in Butler, Missouri.

His commitment to his family was like his commitment to his job at General Motors for 41 years. He was a loving father, husband and grandfather. Roger was one of the greatest and genuine people to ever walk on God's green Earth.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Mae Lawrence; son Kent Lawrence (Bobbi) of Rich Hill, MO; son Travis Wishon (Amy) of Yankton, SD; son Paul Wishon of Leeton, MO; seven grandsons; seven granddaughters; and his brother, Mitch Lawrence.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sons Daryl Lawrence and Robert Lawrence; and siblings Norman, Ronnie, Dean, Sherry, and Jim.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Warrensburg Memorial Gardens.
