Roger Leroy Phillips, Sr., age 74, of Marshall, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025, in Marshall, Missouri.

He was born on Friday, March 2, 1951, in Marshall, MO, to Alvin and Dollimae (Duncan) Phillips.

Roger is survived by his daughter Crystal Christensen (Kelly); sons Rodger Phillips, Jr. of Marshall, Missouri, and Jeffrey (Rikki) Phillips; grandchildren Andrew Phillips, Alexis and Colton Bowlen, Katelyn Phillips, Kassidy Christensen, Kaelen Christensen, Scotty Phillips, and Jasper Phillips of Corder, Missouri; and his great-grandchildren Elliana Ahart and Emery Ahart. He is also survived by his siblings; Leon Phillips, Shirley Adams, and Norma Walker of Marshall, Missouri; Kenneth Phillips in Illinois, and Vicki Chaney in Columbia, Missouri.

He was precededdeath by his former wife Delores Begotner; his daughter-in-law Tessa Phillips; his sisters Donna Kay (in infancy), Diana Worley, and Doris Wilson; and his brother Tony Phillips.

Roger was known for his hard work at Conagra where he worked as an equipment operator for nearly four decades of his life.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the Knights of Columbus building located in Marshall, Missouri.

The family extends their gratitude to the staff of Three Rivers Hospice for their heartfelt care.
