Obituary

Ronald "Ronnie" Erisman, 70, had his "Heaven Day" and went to be with the Lord Friday, May 13, 2022.

Ronnie was born April 16, 1952 to William Charles and Betty Katherine (Johnson) Erisman of Lee's Summit, MO. He grew up and later lived in Lee's Summit, on the family farm, Warrensburg, Peculiar and his favorite Branson and the Table Rock Lake area.

Ron was a Christian; he knew Jesus, knew the Bible, and was baptized at an early age at the Baptist Church in Lee's Summit.

He graduated from Lee's Summit High School in 1970. He was a Master plumber and completed his apprenticeship through the Local #8. His father, brother Steve Erisman, and Ronnie owned and operated Erisman Plumbing and Ditching. He was self-employed and also worked for TJ Mechanical in Branson. Ronnie traveled nationwide doing plumbing jobs. He could also run a backhoe with his eyes closed.

He was Dad, PaPa and Uncle to his kids and step-kids alike. He was Dad and the Dad he didn't have to be. He would drive hundreds to thousands of miles to make sure he was there for the kids. He loved his friends as family and the crazy fun they had together. Ronnie loved us all and we all loved him.

Any time Ronnie was on the scene there was laughter and stories to tell. No one was safe from his jokes. He was a fun-loving guy who had a heck of a ride on earth. He was a tremendous athlete and competitive. He loved boating, skiing, barefooting, tubing, swimming, and fishing at Table Rock Lake. He taught all of his family and many friends how to ski. There were no rules go-carting often ending in getting kicked off. He loved riding and racing his motorcycle and trips to Sturgis, playing cards and golfing with his friends, River, and Jordan along with many tournaments. His favorite holiday was the 4 th of July and shooting fireworks. His favorite was dropping the M80 or quarter-stick.

Whatever Ron did was BIG including the impact that he made on our life.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents and his son Kody Ray Erisman.

He leaves behind his brother Steve (Sandy) who he respected and was there for him throughout his life; daughter Starcy (Danny); son Marshall and sister Brooke; his wife Roberta and son River and daughters Christian (Walker) Brooke (Zach) and Jamie; grandchildren Brandon, Cole, Alex, Timber, Tanner, Stormi, Dalton, Ayden, Dakoda, Dawson, Delaney, and Brayden; great-grandchildren Brock, Blakely, Dawson, Alayna and Shepherd; niece Sandy (Mark) and nephews Jordan, David, Eric, Kenny, and Jeremy (Brittany); many cousins along with the best of friends.

Ronnie will live forever in Heaven with Jesus, his son Kody, and in our hearts.

A celebration of life and Ron's "happy hour" will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Shamrock Hills Golf Course in Lee's Summit, Missouri.
